Gold Saxon pendant found in Leicestershire

A metal detectorist has found a gold pendant thought to date back 1,500 years.
Chris Bursnall found the 3 cm Saxon pendant on farmland near Melton – an area that had already been well-combed by other metal detectorists in the last two decades, the Melton Times reports.
