A Betty Boop collector says that the gold necklace her husband bought for her is the prized piece in her store of hundreds of items relating to the animated character.
Boop, with her distinctive voice resembling that of Hollywood starlet Marilyn Monroe, is a popular character in Betty Dawes’ area, reports the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune.
